An open letter to Gov. Sarah Palin:
Although I am not a Republican and do not agree with your conservative ideology (which I believe, with all due respect, to be simplistic and Alaska-centric), and although I proudly voted for Barack Obama, I would like to openly express my admiration for you as a person.
I admire your spunk and pluck, your apparent forthrightness, your sincerity, your courage and your determination. I openly admire you, governor. I believe the recent post-election reports of campaign attacks against you are low and cheap.
I hope in your response to them that you continue to take the high road. God bless you and your family.
