Mrs. Lund enjoyed music, singing, choir, card playing, Scandinavian cooking, homemaking, Norwegian culture and she participated in many plays and musicals.
Her family wrote: "Agnes and her husband, Carl, moved to Alaska in 1990 due to medical reasons. What Alaskans were not able to experience was the involved life Agnes had before she came to Alaska.
"Her three main focuses were her family, church, and music. She took pride in her cooking and housekeeping talents. She was a master cook in preparing Scandinavian delicacies and other meals. Her reputation for preparing Scandinavian food and pastries for the Christmas season was widespread.
"She loved to entertain family and friends. Her church activities included helping organize meals for church functions, and directing the junior high youth choir. She sang in college choirs of St. Olaf and Luther College, and in local church choirs, trios, and other groups. Music was central to her life."
