AKPIRC offers education tools

Alaska Parent Information and Resource Center offers activities for preschool, elementary and middle school students to help them be better prepared for school in the fall if they stay active, physically and academically, during summer break.

• Teachers and administrators understand how transitions to kindergarten, middle school, high school and college present unique challenges for students and their families. AKPIRC has created toolkits for each of the critical transitioning benchmarks. These toolkits include organizational resources and parent guides that can be used to facilitate parent meetings or workshops.

AKPIRC is a program of SERRC, Alaska’s Educational Resource Center.
