Alaska CHARR hosts first Mat-Su SHE Event to empower, educate, and elevate women in hospitality and tourism

The Alaska Cabaret, Hotel, Restaurant, and Retailers Association (Alaska CHARR) is hosting the inaugural Mat-Su SHE event, an empowering gathering designed to support and inspire women in the hospitality and tourism industries. The event is Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 PMp.m.at Everett’s Restaurant in Wasilla.

Building on the success of SHE events in Anchorage, the Mat-Su SHE event will bring together industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders for a day of education, networking, and empowerment. Attendees will hear from influential speakers, including Alexa Donahe, Vice President and General Manager, Alaska Collection | Pursuit, and Steph Johnson, Owner, Katabatic Consulting, who will share their insights and experiences on leadership, career growth, and overcoming challenges in the hospitality and tourism sectors.
