MAT-SU — Alaska Raceway Park will host a fundraiser Sunday and Monday to benefit Cody’s Wish.
The new nonprofit was established by the family of Cody Dennis, 14, who died of bone cancer in October 2011.
Alaska Raceway Park will offer a split the pot raffle to benefit Cody’s Wish and will tell Cody’s story over the intercom throughout the day.
The mission of Cody’s Wish is to support families who have children with cancer by providing information and resources through its website and in-person support through outreach programs.
