If you’re looking for some great riding on the Kenai Peninsula around Homer, check out Caribou Hills Trails off Oilwell Road or Clam Gulch near Ninilchik. There are more than 80 miles of trails here that cover rolling hills, wooded trails and wide-open riding.

This area is great for all skill-levels, depending on the route you choose. Just remember to respect private property as many trails cross mixed use lands.

You’ll find online training courses along with a host of other training tips and opportunities at alaskasaferiders.com.

That’s it for this week. Remember, always ride smart. Ride safe. Wear a helmet. And be sure to check back next week for more trail and safety tips right here.
