Mat-Su Borough School District nurses planned and hosted the Alaska School Nurse Association spring conference at Settlers Bay last weekend. It was titled “We’re Ready! Emergency Nursing in the School Setting.”
More than 100 school nurses from across the state gathered for a weekend of up-to-date information on emergency care.
Emergency topics presented and discussed included, orthopedics, mental health, suicide, diabetes, immunity, vision/eye care, dental, dating violence, allergy/asthma and pediatric issues.
