Alaska stands 100 percent for the Second Amendment

To the editor:

I highly commend Howard Delo on his special column “HB 69 is a statement, nothing more.” I further commend the legislators writing House Bill 69 and voting for the bill.

HB 69 does an outstanding job sending a clear message that Alaska stands 100 percent for the Second Amendment. I do not see HB 69 as a new line in the sand The line in the sand was drawn more than 200 years ago when our founders placed the Second Amendment in our Constitution.
