The winners for this year’s Alaska State Fair Parade in downtown Palmer Aug. 23 have been announced. Winners are:

Overall Winner:Palmer Colony Express

Second Overall:MTA Matanuska Telephone Association

Third Overall: Midnight Sun Yoga

Theme winner:State Farm

Category winners:

Ag and Animals: Bernese Mt. Group, Mat-Su 4-H, Musk Ox Farm

Business: Aurora Flowers, Sportsmans Warehouse, Mat Valley Federal Credit Union, tied with Mat Su College

Comm. Service: MatSar Rescue, Palmer Elks, Ind. Baptist Church

Fam/Children: Excel Gymnastics, CCS Early Learning, Boy Scouts

Royalty: Miss Alaska (Corvette Club), United America Pageant, Miss Alaska JHC

Music/Dance: Colony High Marching Band, Paws and Taws

Public Safety: Palmer Fire, Alaska Rhinestone Boating Safety

Sports: PHS JV/Cheer, PHS Football, PAHA Palmer Hockey
