Alaska Women’s Hall of Fame seeks nominations

The Alaska Women’s Hall of Fame seeks nominations of women who have made significant and enduring contributions to their communities, state or nation. People may nominate any woman who is at least 65 years of age by Nov. 1, or who is deceased, and who lived in Alaska during her lifetime.

Nominations must be submitted electronically to the Hall of Fame on the form online at alaskawomenshalloffame.org and must be received before midnight, Nov. 1.

Nominations will be reviewed and considered for selection by a panel of independent judges, and honorees’ will be inducted at a ceremony in March 2012 to coincide with National Women’s History Month.
