Misty Kristine Hoy of Anchorage and Scott Andrew Albers of Lincoln, Neb., will wed on November 11 in a ceremony held in Lincoln.
Misty is the daughter of Corey Burk of Prescott, Ariz. and Joy Bumala of Wasilla and is the granddaughter of C.B. and Jean Wise of Wasilla.
Misty served in the U.S. Army National Guard for eight years. She is currently working towards furthering her education for a cosmetology degree.
Scott is the son of Dr. Lonnie and Jodelle Albers of Lincoln, Neb. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Sciences from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Ariz. He is currently pursuing a career as a commercial pilot.
The couple met in Prescott, Ariz. and plan to honeymoon in the Western Caribbean on a cruise in November.
They will reside and start their new lives together in Lincoln.
