PALMER — The Talkeetna Bluegrass and Music Festival starts today and, contrary to what’s been said in the past, there is no age limit to get in.
In an interview last week, Lulu Smalls said that to get into the festival teens under 18 have to find a sponsor.
Friday, she said she was mistaken.
“There is no age limit for Alaska’s greatest campout,” she said.
Bands performing at the festival this year include bands from across the state, including two acts Smalls described well worth the drive — headliners Three-Legged Mule and the Mabrey Bros. Band.
The venue is at Mile 102 Parks Highway and the festival runs through Sunday.
