Brady Shults
Palmer Pioneers
Brady Shults is in his second season with the Palmer Pioneers American Legion baseball program. Shults was named an Alliance Baseball League All-Star at catcher. He has been the Pioneers starting catcher throughout the summer and has hit in the cleanup spot.
The Palmer coaches praised his consistency on both offense and defense this season.
Max Wanser
Alaska Road Warriors
Max Wanser has been a four-year varsity player for both the Wasilla Road Warriors American Legion and Wasilla High School programs. Wanser helped Wasilla High win a state baseball title for the first time in school history in 2019 and the Wasilla Road Warriors to a runner-up finish in the American Legion tournament later that summer. This season, Wanser was named an Alliance All-Star as a catcher. Last week, Wanser led the Warriors behind the plate by throwing out four baserunners against Dimond.
Wanser was a 2020 graduate of Wasilla High School.
