Mari Jo Parks and the Special Santa at Alaska Family Services helped foster parents with gifts for the foster children they are caring for. Pump Up the Kids is another program that helped provide gifts donated specifically for older youth in foster care. The Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center Knit Witz donated beautiful handmade scarves, gloves , hats and afghans for the holiday party children in foster care. In addition, Valley Business Machines and Krazy Moose Sandwich Shop in Wasilla collected gifts for foster children.
