First, I would like to thank you for bestowing your love onto the men and women of “B” Detachment. Your kindness has not gone unnoticed by this command staff. In the past six weeks, you have showered “B” Detachment with goodies snacks, left voice messages thanking us for our service. Your appreciation did not stop. You also sent handwritten letters expressing your thanks and hand-delivered children’s drawings of troopers.
Those drawings are proudly displayed throughout the detachment so staff can admire them. This outpouring of love was unsolicited and unexpected, a simple thank you does not seem enough. So, I am hopeful that this letter will show you and others how much we cherished your support. Your kindness has had a positive impact on all of us, knowing that we are supported and appreciated reminds us why we serve.
Thank you again for your thoughtfulness.
