WASILLA — Alaska State Troopers arrested an Anchorage man, charging him with child molestation after finding him in a car with a 13-year-old girl.
Robert Bradley, 19, was charged with sexual abuse of a minor and sixth-degree drug misconduct.
Troopers say they were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle on a dead-end Wasilla street on Thursday.
Inside the car they found Bradley and the girl. The two had apparently met on the Internet two days prior and agreed to meet. They drove to the dead-end street where the molestation allegedly occurred, troopers report.
Bradley was jailed on $5,000 bail at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility. Prison records Saturday afternoon showed he was still there.
Drunk burglar makes a ruckus
WASILLA — A drunken burglar who troopers say broke into a shed last week apparently fired a round from a rifle he found inside while committing the act.
Troopers say they were called to Cross Bow Circle at 11:55 p.m. on Thursday. They arrested Nickolas A. Tandecki, 20, of Wasilla.
Troopers say Tandecki had pried the lock off a shed door and grabbed a jar of quarters.
“Investigation further revealed that Tandecki had removed a .22-caliber rifle from the shed and fired a shot into the back yard while being impaired,” troopers report.
Tandecki was charged with burglary, theft and weapons misconduct then jailed at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $1,500 bail. Prison records Saturday afternoon showed he’d since bailed out.
Man allegedly tries to run over girlfriend
TRAPPER CREEK — A man was arrested Friday and charged with assault for almost running over his girlfriend.
Troopers say that at noon on Thursday they responded to a disturbance. On scene they found Stefan Gudmundson, 39, had been arguing with his girlfriend.
They say that during the dispute Gudmundson almost ran the woman over with his pickup.
Gudmundson was jailed at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility with no bail initially set, as is routine in domestic violence cases. Prison records Saturday afternoon showed he was still there.
