WASILLA -- An 18-year-old woman from Anchorage forced a Wasilla police car off the road Friday and side-swiped two other cars, including a Wasilla patrol car, Alaska State Troopers said.
Brie Bliss was driving a green 2000 Mitsubishi at Mile 49 Parks Hwy. at 3:30 p.m. when her problems began, troopers said.
Her problems ended at Mat-Su Pre-Trial hours later.
After narrowly missing the first police vehicle on the road, Bliss struck a 1999 Honda Civic driven by Andrea T. Durney of Fairbanks. She then side-swiped a Wasilla Police Department vehicle, according to a press release from troopers.
Bliss was alone in the SUV.
Bliss was arrested on six counts of third-degree assault, felony hit and run, felony eluding, driving under the influence, reckless endangerment, misdemeanor hit and run and fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, according to the release.
Troopers said Bliss was lodged at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $5,000 cash-only bail and court-approved third party.
Officials estimated the total damage to all vehicles at $10,000.
