Anchorage woman IDed in fatal cabin fire

WILLOW — The State Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim of an Easter morning cabin fire in Deshka landing as Tari K. Flannery, 49, of Anchorage, according to an Alaska State Trooper press release.

Flannery and her boyfriend, who has not been named by troopers, were staying at a cabin owned by friends.

Westlake Volunteer Fire Department, Houston Fire Department and Willow Fire Department also responded to the fire April 8, but the 800-square-foot cabin was a total loss, troopers said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to troopers.
