Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Sutton resident Angie Dix died Aug. 30, 2003, at Valley Hospital in Palmer. A private service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Dix was born March 3, 1943, in Brainerd, Minn. She came to Alaska in 1995.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, cooking and home decorating.
Her family wrote, "Angie will be dearly missed by her friends and family. She left an impression on all of those she touched. She had a zest for life and her absences will be forever felt."
She is survived by her husband Darrel Dix of Sutton; sons Tracy Trabant of Hopkins, Minn., John Trabant and wife Julie of Chaska, Minn.; daughter Stephanie Miller of Aitkin, Minn.; brothers Tommy Punton of Florida and Ben Sandberg of Minnesota; sister Connie of Arizona; father Calvin Arvidson of Minnesota; grandchildren Tyler, Cody, Kristin, Brooke, Emily and Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Pearl Arvidson.
Arrangements were handled by Kehl's Palmer Mortuary.
