UPDATE (12:07 p.m., August 13) -- Anchorage police say Karl Vandenhuerk, who was wanted by police for a probation violation, has been taken into custody. Vandenhuerk was captured after being spotted walking late Wednesday at night in Anchorage's Mountain View neighborhood.
ORIGINAL STORY: Anchorage police sent out a public message on Wednesday asking for the public’s help locating Karl Vandenhuerk, 40, who is wanted on a probation violation. Police say Vandenhuerk has been staying at locations in Anchorage and the Mat-Su. He is wanted on a probation violation.
