Appreciates changes at WASI

To the editor:

I stopped by WASI the other day to get a flu shot. It was the first time I had been there since the departure of the previous executive director. Wow, what a change in the atmosphere: people laughing out loud, greeting others across the room, happiness prevailing.

Kudos to the board for making this change possible and to the staff for doing such a great job of picking up the ball afterward. Thanks to the Frontiersman for not caving in to threats when it published pieces detailing what was going on.

And a huge special thanks to the WASI members and members of Elder Watch who had the courage to state the obvious — that the empress had no clothes. The board of WASI would never have done what needed to be done had it not been for them.
