To the family and congregation of Pastor Randy and Doris Bjerken:
I am a pastor on the staff of Valley Presbyterian Church in Paradise Valley, Ariz. Our church is located one block west of Scottsdale Road between McDonald Drive and Jack Rabbit Road.
On Sunday morning, our congregation was in worship when the news came of the accident. I wanted you to know that our congregation stopped and prayed for those involved. It wasn’t until the next morning that the information was released by the authorities as to who the victims were. There are no words to express the heartfelt sorrow for your loss.
Tuesday morning, our staff prayed together for your family and your church family. We pray that God will be with you and undergird you with a blanket of loving support and give you strength to face the days ahead.
