Arrest follows indictment of Palmer man

PALMER — A 38-year old Palmer man was arrested on seven counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor Monday after a Palmer grand jury issued a June 13 indictment.

According to court documents, Thomas Kellar faces seven felony charges for incidents which took place at various locations in Palmer and Butte over a an approximate four-year time frame. The indictment states all seven counts involve a now 22-year old victim and occurred at private residences—including garages and acquaintance’s homes, the back of a commercial trucking vehicle and a borough fire station.

Bail was set at $50,000 and a court-appointed third party. A July 24 pretrial conference is set.
