To the editor:
On behalf of the Nikiski Freestyle Wrestling Club, I would like to thank the Curtis D. Menard Memorial Sports Center for hosting our state wrestling tournament this past weekend. As a community, you should be proud of a beautiful facility. The staff was friendly and helpful and handled a large crowd of wrestlers and their families incredibly well. Thank you to the staff and to your community for a well-run event.
A special thank you to Bob and Kim Ottum, Mike Hutchison, Ed Gravely, Jeanette Perkins, Robbie Nash, Lance Bodeen, Rebecca Christy and Steve Robb for their continued support and dedication to this great sport.
And finally a thank you to all of our wrestling families in the Valley. We had a great season and look forward to seeing you on the mat next year!
