WASILLA — A man who allegedly “caused physical injury to another person with a knife” later tried and failed to kick an Alaska State Trooper in the face.
According to a trooper press statement, the assault was reported at 5:23 p.m., Monday on Sakai Street, north of Knik Goose Bay Road in the Fairview Loop area.
“Ron Christohper Harrell, age 44, of Wasilla, caused physical injury to another person with a knife,” according to the AST report.
Harrell was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct.
“During the arrest, Harrell attempted to assault a trooper by kicking him in the face,” the report says.
He was jailed at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility. A judge later set his bail at $20,000 and ordered to find someone to watch him before he can be released.
