PALMER — A man who died after he was struck by a vehicle along the Palmer-Wasilla Highway earlier this month has been identified by the Alaska State Troopers.

Ronnie Mancil, 59, of Palmer, died at the scene Jan. 18 after he was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Creekwood Park Circle and the Palmer-Wasilla Highway. The call came in just before 11 p.m. Jan. 18. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with authorities, according to the AST.

AST is continuing to investigate, according to the latest report.
