AST to moose feeder: YouWrong

WASILLA — Add to the list of things you should probably avoid posting online: videos of yourself feeding moose.

According to a press release from Alaska State Troopers, an 18-year-old Wasilla man, Roman Finch, was handed a $310 ticket March 9 after troopers found a video of him feeding a moose on YouTube.

“Finch did feed the moose in an attempt to lure the moose closer to him so he could touch it as shown in the video,” the press release states.

Troopers end the press release with a very succinct summation of the law: “It is unlawful to negligently or intentionally feed game.”
