AT&T boosts wireless network at fair

PALMER — To accommodate increased cell phone traffic, AT&T has deployed a Cell on Wheels to the Alaska State Fairgrounds to boost network capacity during the event, which continues through Sept. 21.

The company also is the sponsor of the AT&T Concert Series, which kicked off Thursday with KC and the Sunshine Band.

Other concerts in the series include: Aug. 22 — Seether; Aug. 23 — Thompson Square; Aug. 24 — Bachman & Turner with Blue Oyster Cult; Aug. 25 — Michael W. Smith; Aug. 26 — Tesla; Aug. 27 — Brett Eldredge; Aug. 28 — The All-American Rejects; Aug. 29 — Three Days Grace; Aug. 30 — The stars of A&E’s Duck Dynasty: An evening with the Robertsons; Aug. 31 — Flo Rida; and Sept. 1 — Pentatonix.
