Catherine Ushmann and Payton Knittle, members of the Palmer Moose football team, have been named the Frontiersman Athletes of the Week.
Ushmann and Knittle made school history during a 37-15 win over the Dimond Lynx. Ushmann and Knittle became the first girls to score a point in a Palmer High varsity football game. Both are kickers. Uschmann booted the PAT three times. Knittle also kicked an extra point.
Uschmann and Knittle are both members of the Moose football team for the first time.
