Carrie Mayer, a member of the Wasilla Warriors swimming and diving program, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Mayer earned a state title in the girls’ 1 meter diving during the ASAA/First National Bank State Swimming and Diving Championships Nov. 9 in Anchorage. Mayer finished with 437.05 points.
The Frontiersman congratulates Mayer on her success.

Layman earned a state title in the boys’ 1 meter diving during the ASAA/First National Bank State Swimming and Diving Championships Nov. 9 in Anchorage. Layman finished with 464.65 points.
