Ikaia Flores, a member of the Redington Huskies football team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Flores helped the Huskies earn a key 6-0 win over Kenai. He scored the lone touchdown on offense, and made several key plays on defense.
The Frontiersman congratulates Flores on his success.
Gabriel Black
Colony Knights
Gabriel Black, a member of the Colony Knights cross-country running team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Black set a new personal record of 16 minutes, 32.2 seconds in the Smokin Stampede meet. He was also fourth in the boys varsity race.
