Avrie Geigerich, a member of the Colony Knights girls soccer team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of he Week.
Geigerich scored all seven of her team's goals during a pair of weekend wins over Juneau-Douglas. She scored five on one day and two on the other.
The Frontiersman congratulates Geigerich on her success.
Jordan Sande
Wasilla Warriors
Jordan Sande, a member of the Wasilla Warriors girls soccer team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Sande scored the game-winner in double overtime to give her team a 2-1 over Kenai in the championship game of the Homer Soccer Tournament. Sande scored five total goals during the tournament.
