Alexis Friesen, a member of the Wasilla Warriors girls soccer team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Friesen scored twice to lead Wasilla to a 3-0 win over Eagle River, its first victory of the season.
The Frontiersman congratulates Friesen on her success.

Wasilla Warriors
Clancey O’Donnell, a member of the Wasilla Warriors baseball team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
O’Donnell scored the game-winning run during a 5-4 victory over North Pole. He also hit a home run earlier in the game.
