Shea Alaniva, a member of the Colony Knights cross-country running team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Alaniva was the top Valley athlete in the Division I girls’ race during the state cross-country running championships in Anchorage. The freshman finished with a mark of 20 minutes, 27 seconds.

Dylan Hose
Palmer Moose
Dyaln Hose, a member of the Palmer Moose football team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Hose grabbed a key interception that helped Palmer earn a 20-12 win over Wasilla in the annual Potato Bowl. Hose, also an offensive lineman, helped the Moose pave their way to three rushing touchdowns.
