Palmer Moose
Cheyanne Frantzich, a member of the Palmer Moose girls basketball team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
In her first career start, Frantzich scored 15 points to help Palmer beat rival Wasilla 65-45 in the Northern Lights Conference semifinals. With the win, Palmer advanced to the state tournament for the first time since 2012.

Elijah Evans, a member of the Palmer Moose boys basketball team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Evans scored 24 points to help the Moose score a win over Kodiak during the NLC third-place game.
