Lila Pettit

Palmer Moose

Lila Pettit, a member of the Palmer Moose girls soccer team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.

Pettit scored eight total goals during the first week of her sophomore season. She scored four during a win over East Anchorage and another four in a victory over Grace Christian.

The Frontiersman congratulates Pettit on her success.

Mielee Merchant

Wasilla Warriors

Mielee Merchant, a member of the Wasilla Warriors girls basketball team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.

Merchant, who just completed her senior season, was recently named third-team all-state for the 4A girls by the Alaska Association of Basketball Coaches.
