Girls basketball team
The members of the Wasilla Warriors girls basketball squad have been named the Frontiersman Athletes of the Week.
Wasilla used a 35-32 win over rival Colony to win the 4A state title during the final day of the ASAA/First National Bank State Championships in Anchorage.
The Warriors also beat Bartlett and Mountain City Christian en route to winning their eighth state title in program history.
The Frontiersman congratulates the Warriors on their success.
