Arthur Merritt, a member of the Palmer track and field team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Merritt won two events and was second in another during the Colony Invitational. Merritt set a PHS school record with a time of 11.21 seconds while winning the 100 meters. He was also first in the 200 and second in the 300 meters.
The Frontiersman congratulates Merritt on his success.
Ella Hopkins
Ella Hopkins, a member of the Colony track and field team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Hopkins won the girls 800, 1,600 and 3,200-meter races during the Colony Invitational. Hopkins also helped Colony finish first in the girls team standings.
