Aidan McDonnell, a member of the Houston Hawks football team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
McDonnell scored on both offense and defense to help lead the Hawks to a big win over Kodiak. McDonnell caught a long touchdown pass and returned an interception for a score.
The Frontiersman congratulates McDonnell on his success.
Ella Hopkins
Colony Knights
Ella Hopkins, a member of the Colony Knights cross-country running team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Hopkins won the girls varsity race at the Ted McKenney XC Invitational on Saturday at Tsalteshi Trails just outside of Soldotna for the second straight year.
