Leila Petersen, a member of the Palmer Moose track and field team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Petersen swept the Division I girls sprints at the Region III Championships, winning the 100 and 200-meter races for the second straight year.
The Frontiersman congratulates Petersen on her success.
Hailee Giacobbe
Wasilla Warriors
Hailee Giacobbe, a member of the Wasilla track and field team, has been named a Frontiersman Athlete of the Week.
Giacobbe won a pair of events, finishing first in the Division I girls 1,600 and 3,200-meter races, during the Region III Championships.
