ATIA Foundation among scholarships available for tourism

MAT-SU — Thousands of dollars in scholarship funds are available for students interested and pursuing a career in Alaska’s tourism industry.

ATIA Foundation recently released its 2014 scholarship application online at alaskaTIA.org. The application deadline is March 14.

ATIA Foundation scholarships are made possible by generous company and individual donations and by ATIA community chapter fundraising efforts.

The 2014 available scholarships include:

• ATIA Anchorage Chapter Rural and Continuing Education Scholarships.

• ATIA Ketchikan Chapter and the Kris Geldaker Memorial Scholarship.

• Chuck West Memorial Scholarship.

• All Alaska Tours Scholarship.

• Holland America Line Scholarship.

• Holland America – Princess Scholarship.

• Skagway Convention & Visitors Bureau Scholarship.
