BISMARCK, N.D. — Veteran Kyle Pichler posted a goal and an assist to lead the Alaska Avalanche to a 4-2 win over the Bismarck Bobcats in Bismarck, N.D., on Saturday.
Pichler assisted on Nardo Nagtzaam’s first-period goal to help give the Avs the early 1-0 lead.
Pichler posted a power-play goal with 90 seconds to play.
Zach May and Zach Smith also scored for Alaska, which improved to 7-1-1 win the win.
The victory also gave Alaska the two-game series sweep.
On Friday, first-year forward Berkley Scott notched the hat trick to lead Alaska to a 5-2 win over the Bobcats.
Scott, a native of Anoka, Minn., posted a pair of goals during a 2 minute and 14 second span in the first period, and added a third midway through the third.
Smith and Robb Haider also scored for Alaska.
The Avs return home to host Bismarck on Oct. 3, 4 and 6.
