BLAINE, Minn. — Alaska goalie Kale Robertson stopped 47 shots to lead the Avalanche to a 2-1 win over Albert Lea during the third day of the North American Hockey League Showcase in Blaine, Minn., Friday.
Blake Huppert, a Colony High School graduate, and Nardo Nagtzaam, scored for the Avs.
On Saturday, Zach Smith scored the lone Alaska goal during a 2-1 loss to Owatonna during the final day of the Showcase.
Landon Peterson recorded 38 saves in goal for the Avs.
The Avs finished 2-2 in the four-day Showcase.
