To the editor —

I would like to share some insight on why Pete LaFrance is the better candidate for state House District 11. Pete is honest, dedicated, and hardworking; he is just what greater Palmer needs in Juneau.

Pete is “Alaska Grown”; he was born and raised in Palmer and still lives near his family. Pete knows that a legislator’s job is to represent Palmer, not to make decisions based on party politics. He already knocked on over 2,000 doors and listened to neighbors’ concerns!

Pete believes in fiscal responsibility, and supporting Alaskans. I agree, we should not spend money that we don’t have, and we should spend our money on what is most important.

I could only vote for a candidate who prioritizes public education. This is why I endorse Pete; he earned a seal of approval by the Great Alaska Schools Group.

I want Pete as my representative in Juneau because I know he will work hard so that the greater Palmer area remains the best place to raise a family.
