Just as Redington appeared to take over the game, Barrow robbed the Huskies of all of the momentum.
Barrow used a 97-yard touchdown run in the final moments of the third quarter to score a key 18-14 Division III win over the Huskies Friday night at Redington.
Redington had taken the 14-12 lead with 1:31 left in the third. Huskies quarterback Cameryn Ingraham connected with Cayden Ingraham on a 45-yard scoring pass to give Redington the lead. Earlier in the game, Cameryn Ingraham found Jake Murdock for a 42-yard scoring pass.
Barrow held an early 12-0 lead.
Barrow, Kenai and Homer are now all tied at 2-0 in conference play in the Division III ranks.
Homer beat Houston 40-8 on Saturday in Homer.
Houston, Redington and Kodiak are all 0-2 in conference.
The top four teams will advance to the Division III postseason.
Redington is on the road the next two weeks, at Kenai and Kodiak. Before hosting rival Houston in the final game of the regular season. The Hawks host Kodiak and Barrow in the next two weeks.
