HOUSTON — A Palmer senior used a perfect night at the plate to lead the Moose to a 10-6 win over Houston at Houston High Monday.
Senior infielder Luke Heun doubled twice and smacked a home run during a 4 for 4 performance at the plate. Heun drove in two runs and scored twice.
Elias Stratton finished with two hits and three runs in the win.
Adam Christiansen had a pair of hits, Wyatt McKechnie finished with a double and Jarred Yanez tripled for the Moose.
Cameron Christiansen pitched six innings to earn the win on the mound.
Palmer and Houston both finished with 11 hits in the game. Devan Elson, Mitchell Ruta and Jaden Sears had a pair of hits each. Sears drove in three runs.

Knights top Palmer
WASILLA — Senior Olivia Martin homered and drove in four runs to lead Colony to a 17-0 win over Palmer last week.
Martin finished 3 for 3 with three runs scored and four RBI. Shelby Ries was also 3 for 3. Ries scored three times and drove in a pair.
Martin fanned three during two innings on the mound.
Colony’s win over Palmer came a day after West Valley edged the Knights 6-4. Chelsea Friesen and Courtney Mulkins each had a pair of hits against the Wolfpack. Friesen drove in two.
