PALMER — Posting lopsided victories is becoming fairly common for the Wasilla Warriors this season.
Wasilla topped the 20-run mark for the second time this season, scoring a 22-0 victory over the Palmer Moose Wednesday night at Hermon Brothers Field at Palmer.
Wasilla hurler Hank Boyer shut down the Moose, scattering three hits over five innings, while fanning 13 Palmer hitters. Boyer also had more than enough run support, as Wasilla won by 10 or more runs for the seventh time this season.
Thirteen different Warriors scored at least one run in the win. Ben Werner crossed home plate a team-high four times. Jeffrey Forster added three runs scored. Nolan Monaghan drove in four, and Jimmy Arend added three RBI.
Skyler Hale, Austin Reeder and Damion Bailey led Palmer with one hit each.
