WASILLA — Kodiak used a seven-run fourth inning to erase an early deficit and score a 16-4 win over Wasilla Friday at the Wasilla Senior Field.
The Warriors scored four runs in the bottom of the first to take a 4-1 lead, but Kodiak took over with three straight big innings. The Bears plated four runners in the third, seven in the fourth and another four in the fifth.
Wasilla was held to only four hits in the loss. Blake Carricaburu, Mitchell Chauvin, Cody Johnson and Jake Grissom each had a hit for WHS. Johnson recorded a double and two RBI. Carricaburu also drove in a run.
