Big Lake home destroyed in fire

A fire destroyed a home in Big Lake Friday afternoon. Details were incomplete but according to scanner reports, multiple fire departments were called to the scene of the blaze on South Lodge Drive around 3 p.m.

Firefighters first reported the structure was not fully engulfed when they arrived but that changed shortly after as scanner reports stated the 40x60 foot structure collapsed. All occupants were safely evacuated from the structure.
