Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Billie Jean Ingham of Merritt Island, Fla., 79, passed away April 7, 2005, joining her husband, William B. Ingham, who passed away six months prior.
Mrs. Ingham was born and raised in Seattle. The former Billie DeJulio, she spent much of her life in Alaska as co-owner and publisher of "The Frontiersman," covering the Matanuska Valley for 22 years.
She enjoyed ocean cruising with her husband and entertaining her family and friends in their beautiful home.
A loving mother, Mrs. Ingham will be missed by her children, Kathleen Clark of Talkeetna, Linda Hudson of Edmonds, Wash., Mark DeJulio of Las Vegas, Kathy Morrissey of Sparta, N.J., and Donna Franchiman of Kirkland, Wash.; brother, John Graham of Seattle; cousin, Winnie Camp of Palm Desert, Calif., and grandchildren, Dan, Sara, Thomas, Brian, Benjamin, Jeanna and Alyssa.
A celebration of her life was held at the Merritt Island Moose Club on Sunday, April 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. The family suggests a donation to a local hospice agency.
